Privacy policy
Effective [date]
This policy explains what Tyler Grid collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. Tyler Grid is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Austin [last name], doing business as Tyler Grid, serving Bakersfield & Kern County, California. In this policy, "Tyler Grid", "we" and "us" mean Austin and his business. Questions: austin@tylergrid.com or (661) XXX-XXXX.
What we collect
When you request a free audit, the form collects:
- Your name, business name, mobile phone number and email address
- Your website (if you give one), your trade, your biggest headache, and how you'd like to be contacted
- Whether you agreed to receive texts about your audit
- A reference code, if you arrived from a link Austin sent you
- The date and time of the request
To keep spam out, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details when you visit or submit the form, including through its Turnstile spam check. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't run third-party analytics on this site.
How we use it
- To contact you about your audit request and send you the written report
- To follow up about the audit and, if you choose, a pilot or ongoing service
- To keep a simple record of who asked for an audit and what happened next
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Text messages
We only text you about your audit if you check the box giving permission. Consent isn't required to get an audit. Message frequency varies with your request, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Where it's stored and who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes the form submission.
- Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Gmail) is where audit requests are recorded and emailed to Austin.
- If we text you, our phone and texting service provider carries those messages.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep audit requests while we're talking with you or working together. If we don't end up working together, we delete your request within 12 months. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your choices and California privacy rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email austin@tylergrid.com or call (661) XXX-XXXX, and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across other websites, so there's nothing for a browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. The site works the same either way.
Children
This site is for business owners and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
